Masha and the Three Bears lead extensive portfolio
Maurizio Distefano the evolution of Licensing (MDL), one of Europe’s leading licensing agencies, has announced its plans for Brand Licensing Europe 2026.
The agency will again be promoting an amazing selection of brands that have enjoyed success across diverse media – including a new hotly anticipated development: Masha and the Three Bears.
Masha and the Three Bears was showcased in June at the Annecy Animation Festival.
The new stand- alone series from Animaccord is set deep in the forest, where the three bears live together in a house, navigating life’s ups and downs, until Masha bursts into their world. Energetic, hilarious, and impossible to ignore, she turns their routine upside down, unexpectedly bringing the brothers closer together as a family. Forced into the role of caregivers, each bear shares what he does best, teaching Masha in his own unique way while learning a few unexpected lessons themselves. In the end, chaos becomes family.
With its distinctive characters line-up and storytelling filled with humor and heart, this exciting new property offers strong potential for licensing programs, with opportunities across many different categories.
Other important properties represented by MDL include modern children’s favourites like Bluey, Bing and CoComelon, classics like Asterix, Polaretti and Care Bears, and a vast music portfolio ranging from ACDC and Pink Floyd to Oasis and Fender.
Maurizio Distefano, President of the agency, says: “At Brand Licensing Europe we always aim to highlight our extensive portfolio, which includes major properties aimed at multiple age groups. We look forward to meeting our partners and industry professionals, sharing our latest opportunities and exploring exciting new projects together. BLE is a great opportunity to exchange ideas and create successful partnerships for the future.”
