The film Charlotte M. – The Flamingo Party Movie will be released in theaters on January 1, 2023, featuring the very popular content creator Charlotte M., a young artist fresh from her success as a voice actress in the animated film The Nutcracker and the Magic Flute, for the first time on the big screen.
The film, produced and distributed by Notorious Pictures and directed by Emanuele Pisano, is a teen romance that tells the story of Charlotte, a young high school freshman who finds herself grappling with adolescence and beyond.
Creativity and spontaneity are her hallmarks. Her entire world revolves around Sofia, her best friend, and the beloved flamingo sanctuary near her grandmother’s country house. Unfortunately, however, Charlotte discovers that this place, so special to her, is about to close due to a lack of funding.
So, together with her inseparable companion Sofia and other friends, she decides to organize a fundraising event to save the sanctuary: a school dance.
But not everything seems to be going well, and the arrival of a new boy in town upsets some balances…
In keeping with the values and content the young content creator has always championed, the film aims to explore the real lives of teenagers, addressing themes such as intense and essential friendship, first loves that seem to make your heart explode, and above all, self-acceptance, along with the enormous commitment that this journey entails.
Charlotte M. – The Flamingo Party Film will also feature two new songs written and performed by Charlotte M. herself.
Furthermore, the book of the same name based on the film, published by Fabbri Editori, will be released on November 24th.
